Welcome Back Sam Madeley
We are please to announce the return of Sam Madeley to the club. here' what Sam
had to say on resigning for Winsford Utd:

Hi Sam and welcome back.
Q: What’s made you choose Winsford United again?
A: Since I joined the club I’ve really enjoyed my football and I want that to continue this year. The team and the management are both great and I want to be a part of it. Q: What were your thoughts on last season?
A: Disappointing is probably the best way to sum it up. We should have done a lot better than we did. We had good chances in the cups to get a run going and let ourselves down. We were far to inconsistent in the league from the start to ever get up there and push for a promotion. Q: What are your hopes for this season? Individual and team?
A: Number 1 is to improve on last season both as a team and as an individual. Hopefully we have a better start to this season which gives us something to build on, rather than playing catch up. If we can get a cup run as well that’ll be a bonus. For me personally, more starts, and more goals. Too many games off the bench last season and didn’t score in one of them. No ones happy getting dropped. Q: What have you been up to in Lock-down?
A: Mostly just working but managed to get a few rounds off golf in as well. Not much else to do. Q: How is preseason training going?
A: Better than last year. I’d say this year is a lot more demanding but I feel a lot fitter so it’s not that bad. A lot better now that we can actually start playing some football rather than running. Thanks Sam
