Danny Kerr rejoins the squad for another season and here he answers a few questions about signing on:
Q: What’s made you choose Winsford United again?
A: It’s my home club and I want to help put it on the map. Also love the match day socks.
Q: What were your thoughts on last season?
A: Lots of ups and downs and I think we underachieved (even though the season didn’t finish). Fantastic gate numbers though, so hopefully this season we have the same and we can give them something to cheer about.
Q: What are your hopes for this season? Individual and team?
A: We need a decent FA Cup run for the benefit of the club during these difficult times. To finish as high as possible in the league. Personally id like to drink less coffee before a game.
Q: What have you been up to in Lock-down?
A: I’ve had the luxury of a full gym set up in my garage. It’s been great to know it’s there and spend my time running after 3 young kids.
Q: How’s preseason training going?
A: Preseason has been physically tough and very demanding. Having to put up
with the gaffers poor banter has been equally demanding.
